The 6 GHz TrangoLINK Giga® is a high-performance point-to-point wireless digital microwave radio link system that is especially suited for long-haul cellular and WiMAX backhaul, WISP backbones, ISP extensions, enterprise networks and broadcast applications. TrangoLINK Giga 6 delivers a 165+ Mbps full duplex wireless bridge connection over the air that is ideal for mixed traffic that requires both IP and traditional T1/E1 connectivity.
TrangoLINK Giga® 6 Highlights
- Basic unit includes full capacity of 165 Mbps full duplex (330+ Mbps) throughput. Full capacity out of the box, no Option Key necessary
- Supports FCC/IC channel sizes of 10 and 30 MHz, and ETSI channel size of 28 MHz
via software selectable filters for improved sensitivity
- Per microwave link throughput:
- 165 Mbps full duplex (256 QAM, 30 MHz channel size)
- 155 Mbps full duplex (128 QAM, 30 MHz channel size)
- 56 Mbps full duplex (256 QAM, 10 MHz channel size)
- 52 Mbps full duplex (128 QAM, 10 MHz channel size)
- Four GigE ports (10/100/1000BaseT) with configurable bandwidth provisioning
- GigE ports have port priority assignment (VLAN) and
QoS features supporting eight priorities and four queues
- Eight T1/E1 ports are automatically added to or dropped from
the data stream when connected or disconnected
- All GigE and T1/E1 ports are port-mapped and operate simultaneously

TrangoLINK Giga® Architecture
The TrangoLINK Giga® microwave radio link is a split mount architecture that consists of two 1U rackmount In-Door Units (IDU) and two direct mount slip-fit Out-Door Units (ODU). The ODU attaches easily to an external antenna for the desired long-range microwave radio link availability.
Applications
The TrangoLINK Giga® system is designed to provide high-capacity wireless IP connectivity for the most demanding networks including mobile and fixed wireless technologies such as UMTS, 3G, 4G, WiMAX, Wi-Fi, Edge and more.
