Regional Sales Director

PURPOSE
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for achieving sales objectives in the designated region. The RSM executes these sales objectives through field visits, phone/email campaigns & proposal/quotation generation, engineering analysis, forecasting, account management and reporting as assigned by management.
- Technically competent to communicate licensed microwave technology to an audience of technical and non-technical personnel; must be familiar with path licensing, attenuation and multipath, etc.
- At least 3 years sales experience in the backhaul market selling licensed microwave products, antennas and accessories and consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
- Prior experience in generating quotations/proposals/bids in response to RFQs and RFIs.
- Exhibits good understanding of the competitive landscape for point-to-point microwave technology from 6 to 38 GHz.
- Is highly organized and has very effective time management skills; an excellent communicator and relationship developer with system integrators and end users.
- A strong individual contributor capable of learning and mastering new technical subjects quickly and communicating them just as effectively.
- Computer literate and experienced with sales database programs such as ACT!, Salesforce and/or NetSuite.
- Exhibits strong negotiating skills and excellent history of closing sales.

Senior Quality Engineer
Department: Manufacturing
Status: Full-time
PURPOSE
Implement, monitor, control, and continuously improve the Quality Management System that complies with ISO 9001 and other quality standards as applicable. Establish systems and processes that ensure closed loop defect analysis to component level.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent technical field.
- 5 years experience in a leadership role.
- Must have strong knowledge of statistical problem solving techniques and software tools.

Senior Software Engineer

Trango Systems, a leading provider of wireless data solutions is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. You will be responsible for the development, debugging and maintenance of application level software related to Trango’s Point-to-Point product line. Candidate must be a highly motivated software engineer with a track record of product delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum BSEE/CS/CE with 5 Plus years of experience in developing embedded management software for carrier class networking systems

Marketing Communications Manager

PURPOSE
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for managing the public relations and brand awareness activities at the corporate and product level for Trango Systems, Inc. Additional responsibilities include the coordination and management of customer facing events as well as leading the creative development of all corporate collateral and assisting with new product introduction. This position is a leadership level position requiring an assertive and dynamic project manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Engineering related field; Wireless, Telecommunications, or Electronics Industry experience preferred
- Ability to travel is absolutely necessary. Expect different locations and an average of 20-40% of the time.
- At least 7 years experience in PR, brand management, advertising and collateral development.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing communications and product introduction management especially in a start up environment.
- High level of communication skills (written and oral) including demonstrated experience communicating with engineers, sales and channel sales representatives.
- Highly adept at using Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and graphics development software (e.g., Visio, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator). Exposure to web development tools is beneficial (e.g., Dreamweaver)

Technical Support Engineer

Support and assist post sales and presales for Trango’s wireless connectivity products.
REQUIREMENTS
- Effective Communicator: This position requires strong phone and email communication skills. Customers are calling to obtain support on critical networking issues.
- Must have a strong understanding of technical terms but possess the ability to methodically guide a customer through a problem to resolution.
- Prior customer relationship training/help desk support is desired and knowledge of RMA processes is a bonus along with ability to look at problems from multiple perspectives understanding that multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) must be considered with multiple, dependent equipment vendors (Cisco, Foundry, Netgear, etc.)
- Hardware: The position requires a good understanding of networked communications devices such as routers, firewalls, CSU/DSU, bridges, multiplexers, servers and switches
- Protocol: The position requires strong knowledge of IP backbone architecture, IP addressing, basic network designs, DNS, IP subnetting, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP), routing policies (e.g., BGP, OSFP, RIP, and EIGRP) and protocols (RIP v1/v2, OSPF), security (802.1x): NAT configuration, FTP, proxy server, firewalls, VLANs (802.1q), class of service (802.1p, 802.3ad), RADIUS/PPPoE and knowledge of TDM architectures including OCx, T3, fractional T3/E3, T1/E1 and fractional T1/E1, ATM, and Frame Relay

Sr Applications Engineer

PURPOSE
The Sr. Applications Engineer is responsible for verification testing of new High Speed microwave transmission products and subsequent related changes, both in the lab and in the field as needed. The position requires interaction with engineering to resolve problems found and requires meticulous note taking and report generation.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in EE, CS or related IT field
- Minimum 3 years related industry experience with a networking products company and/or fixed wireless access manufacturer in a similar capacity.
- Detail Oriented: This position requires discipline in creating and following test procedures and recording the results in detailed reports. The product development team relies on this position as the last gate before release, therefore it is critical that the tests are done correctly and can be repeated. Communication with Engineering on a regular basis is essential.
- Hardware Expert: The position requires a good understanding of networked communications devices such as routers, firewalls, bridges, servers and switches
- Networking: The position requires strong knowledge of IP backbone architecture, IP subnet addressing, basic network designs, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP), routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RIP and EIGRP, security (802.1x): Firewall/NAT configuration, FTP, proxy server, VLANs (802.1q), Class of Service (802.1p, 802.3ad), RADIUS/PPPoE and knowledge of TDM architectures including OC lines, full & fractional T1/E1, ATM, and Frame Relay
